My first real photoshop illustration, there's a lot of things I could do better, but I like it anyway!

All textures are photos of mine.

Marshie! the marshmallow.

We had to make a stylesheet for our animation class, here is marshie, my loveable marshmallow!
We will make him jump, run, and a special 15 second movie :)
The character had to be very simple so we can concentrate on animating. It's an intro to flash animation.

Hello again! Hope your summer was swell!

Here is a mock ad I did as a class project for Vitamin Water.
Karl was a great model, so convincingly thirsty!

It's me again...

square formats are weird but I really enjoyed doing this. I took my time to do the lineart so I got it as right as possible.
I worked on this about 10 hours, using HB, 4H and 7B pencils on arches hot press.
I added a tiny little background element after taking this photo but the photo of the latest version is blurry, so this is all you get!
I should really start scanning my stuff, but my scanner is ridiculously tiny.

As you can see my problem is contrast, other than that pretty happy. This drawing made me learn a lot, especially for my contrast problem and how to use all the pencils that exist.

It's a Digital World!

So here are 2 different photoshop projects, my very first ones!
The main reason I went into this program was to learn photoshop and other computer programs because I had ZERO knowledge of them!

The first one is an aged photo, the orginial photo I took next to my house at the atwater market. All the textures were also made by me, nothing taken off websites.

The second one, I took the photo of the rose, changed the colors of the sky, took off some cars in the background, added a layer of rust texture (that I made) and plant texture (i also made) and then added the little bug that I designed. It's called "Time Flies" hence the watch on the butt...
It needs to be better integrated, but I'm pretty proud for the 2 first projects ever! :D
